HOW IT WORKS
What actually happens between booking the call and the first fix shipping.
No sales deck, no discovery-call theatre. Here's the exact sequence, from the free call to the first reported result.
The exact sequence
01 — Free review call
Thirty minutes. Tell us what's happening and what you've already tried. No slide deck, no pitch — we're listening for evidence, not selling yet.
02 — Diagnosis
We look at your site and your market before recommending anything. Sometimes that's a formal audit; sometimes it's evident enough on the call to recommend a specific retainer directly.
03 — Proposal
A written scope and a price you already knew before the call, because it's published on the site. No separate quote-request step.
04 — Engagement start
The consultant who scoped it does the work — no hand-off to a team you haven't met.
05 — Reporting cadence
A fixed monthly reporting rhythm from week one: what changed, what we did, and what's next — not a rolling promise of a report “soon.”
What happens on the call
Before the call
You tell us the URL and, if you have it, what's already been tried. No form fields beyond what's needed to book.
During the call
We ask what changed right before the problem started — a migration, a redesign, a competitor move — and look at the site live if useful.
After the call
You get a same-week recommendation: audit, a specific retainer, or, in some cases, that you don't need us yet.
How the free call is structured
We ask the same three questions on every call, in order: what changed right before the problem started, what’s already been tried, and what a good outcome would look like in your terms — pipeline, calls, or category revenue, not a position number. Those three answers decide whether we recommend the audit, a specific retainer, or, sometimes, that this isn’t a good fit yet. The order matters: we don’t quote a service until we understand the first two.
Common questions
A fixed monthly reporting cadence at minimum, plus the free call itself as the first checkpoint — retainers with a faster-moving scope, like a migration, get more frequent updates, agreed on the call.
We say so. The audit and the free call both exist specifically so we're not incentivised to recommend a retainer that isn't justified by the evidence.
Three months, then rolling month-to-month with 30 days' written notice on either side.
Yes — that's the most common path. The audit is a complete, standalone deliverable regardless of what you decide afterwards.
